I'm glad there starting this new dance , coz not many in Malaysia are familiar with this type of dancing.
I'm took classes from Ivy before and she's quite good. As currently there that many dance schools in PJ area. Besides like Ivy says most of the dance school would stick to the same dances like ballroom and latin as most are not qualified or experience to teach other types of dancing.
Actually she one of the only one to compete internationally, as most have not competed before. So its nice to hear. I guess she the only one holding this swing dance workshops at the moment.
Swing dancing is currently quite popular in singapore maybe malaysia it can take off also.
Yes, besides the other popular styles of dancing like ballroom, Latin American, salsa and hip hop we should try out other styles like the american swing dances, Argentine tango, shuffe, etc.
